Huawei has launched Honor 8 as the new flagship of the the more affordable brand and it has a lot of similarities with the more high end flagship device P9.
Huawei Honor 8 comes packing with 1080 Full HD 5.2 inches screen sporting a dual-12 MP camera setup on the back with f/2.2 aperture. The front shooter has 8 MP resolution with f/2.4 aperture. 4 GB Ram and 64 GB expandable storage are also intact.

The main difference is the chipset. Honor 8 features a relatively older Kirin 950 chipset whereas P9 employs Kirin 955. The 950 chipset comes with octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A72 cores at 2.3 GHz and four Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.
4G is built-in with dual sim but unfortunately, you can either use two SIMs or a SIM and a microSD so you cannot use both SIMs and a microSD at the same time.
The phon's dimensions are 145.5 x 71 x 7.45 mm and it weighs 154 grams. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow runs underneath Huawei's 4.1 EMU. Fingerprint sensor is also on the back.
Honor 8 has a 3,000 mAh battery that caan be charged through a Type-C USB port.
The model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage is priced at CNY 1,999 ($298, €269). If you pick the one with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, the price is CNY 2,299 ($343, €310), while the top of the line variation with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage will set you back CNY 2,499 ($373, €337).
