According to tests carried out by Consumer Reports, Samsung's Galaxy S7 Active is not even waterproof to begin with, let alone IP68 certification that Samsung claims the S7 Active possess which means it is supposed to be capable of being submerged in water upto five feet for thirty minutes.

Tests was carried out on two devices, the screen was flashing green suggesting that the water had got into the device with the gaps between panels on the device's body said to be the likely intrusion point for the liquid.
The customers are supposed to pay about $100 extra to get the Active version over the regular S7 and this is what they are getting.
